Brenten Thueson Named Idaho Recruit Hub Week 5 Player of the Week
NAMPA, Idaho — Columbia senior middle linebacker Brenten Thueson delivered a dominant defensive performance in Week 5, helping lead the Wildcats to a victory over Ridgevue.
For his performance, Thueson has been named the Idaho Recruit Hub Week 5 Player of the Week, voted by the fans.
Thueson was all over the field for the Columbia defense, finishing the game with 9 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks.
Playing in the middle of the Wildcats' defense, the senior consistently found his way into the Ridgevue backfield and made his presence felt around the line of scrimmage. His 3.5 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks highlighted a disruptive night in which he helped Columbia slow down the Ridgevue offense and come away with the win.
